Pottery composition

Every country has its own art and culture. The contribution of the country or nation is behind the spread of each industry. Pottery is one of the industries of our country. Pottery has a deep connection with our culture. The word 'soil' means soil or soil and 'art' here refers to beautiful and creative things. That is why all art works made with clay can be called pottery. The traditional pottery of rural Bengal, which has been inherited from ancient times, is on the verge of extinction. These days the engagement of Kumarpara girls has reduced a lot. The smell of raw soil is not much available. There are no more clay pots in the market. However, fighting with the brutal reality, some dilapidated Kumar families are still holding on to this business of father and grandfather.

China has a great tradition with pottery. According to various media, pottery was born in the famous city of Tangshan in China. And that is why this city is called the city of pottery. This city is located 150 km northeast of Beijing, one of the oldest cities in China. Various pottery works can be seen in the streets, recreation centers or parks of this city. The origin and development of Tangshan pottery dates back to the Yong Le period of the Ming Dynasty. This city has a history of about 600 years. There are more than 500 potteries of different types of porcelain. Among the different types of clay here are ancient architectural porcelain, sanitary porcelain, industrial porcelain, hi-tech porcelain, artistic porcelain, etc. Many shoppers still look for products made in China when they go to different stores

As Chinese art has traditions, so does our country. Thousands of people have been involved in this industry for hundreds of years. In our country we call those who are involved in such work as Kumar. In the past, pottery made by skilled village artisans was much more valued. This environmentally friendly art was adorned in every house in the village. Today it is lost due to the touch of modernity. Potters used to make various types of pottery such as pitchers made of clay, flower tubs, pots, dishes, decorative pots, clay banks, children's toys. The main materials of this industry are clay, firewood, dry grass, straw and sand.

Pottery is one of the traditional industries of Bangladesh. It is not only art, but also the history and tradition of contemporary rural Bengal. Realizing the need for this industry due to its aesthetic craftsmanship and exotic design, more initiatives should be taken to export it to foreign countries. Potters and farmers involved in the pottery industry should be given loans and other facilities on easy terms to increase their diversified production. Everyone should come forward for the prosperity of this domestic industry
